What first drew you into Carol's Closet?
My soul twin, KR, told me about KC and this amazing project she was working on. I was interested right away, but what really sealed the deal was walking into the space and seeing Carol’s clothes. I immediately felt connected to this woman that I had never met. We were separated by time, place and culture, yet somehow, we shared a similar sense of style. I kept finding pieces I would have chosen for myself, and I loved the idea that fashion could create this unexpected connection between two strangers. Standing there, surrounded by her clothes, I just knew I was meant to be part of this project.
Favorite thrifted/vintage find ever:
This is a tough one, I have a lot of favourite pieces. My most recent favourite purchase was a disco ball dress that I found in a thrift store in the Twin Cities. I saw it and right away I was drawn to it. I didn't know where I was going to where it, but it fit like a glove so I had to buy it. I wore it for a private dinner on my birthday but I'm still trying to find a more grand occasion to wear it to.
One item from Carol's Closet that feels most like you:
There's so many to choose from - this is so hard. There is this one pink suit with velvet mustard lining that is gorgeous. It's giving Hillary Banks + Elle Woods + Tracee Ellis Ross. LOVE!!!!!
One word for Carol's Closet:
Timeless + Dynamic (LOL, sorry. I need both)
